I retired and moved to the hills east of Lucca, near Pescia, a year ago and I absolutely love it. I have no plans to return to the UK and am now in the process of buying a house. www.anewlifeintuscany.com is my blog about life here, and places I love, and will eventually record the house renovation which will take about a year.
