I am visiting Sicily this year and would be interested to know if there are any cookery schools that would be worth checking out while im there.
If anyone has any recommendations then please let me know!

What a lovely idea - I long to do something similar myself. Alas, I haven't so I can't give any direct recommendations.
But the Sicilian cookery school I've read most about is run by Anna Tasca Lanza, and located in the wine-growing region of Regaleali.
Sra Lanza is frequently referenced by our UK TV food deities as the font of all sapienza della cucina siciliana. Website: http://www.annatascalanza.com/Default.aspx?ch=110
It looks sublime - but it's not cheap.
