Expats in Rome

Interested to know which areas in and around Rome are favoured by English speaking expats with families. Possibility that I may get opportunity of living and working in Rome within the next 12 months. Have two boys aged 7 and 5. Keen to know good areas to get some idea of property rental and purchase prices. Thanks. AC.

Try the Sabina...NE of Rome, it is on the Fiumicino Apt - Orte Line with regular trains (15-30 min intervals) for easy comuting into Rome, although you will almost certainly need a car anyway. Property prices are relatively cheap still and whilst the area is not over-run with expats, there are a few of us around! Casperia is particularly popular, but worth looking elsewhere too. Can recommend Best Immobiliare ....English is spoken (on request) and they are AIPP members
