We intend to go to Venice for the 2009 Carnival but does anyone know the exact days / dates the main processions will take place (sailing down the Grand Canal and under the Rialto Bridge)?

Next year's carnival takes place between 13-24 February. Not all of the events have been finalised yet, but if you visit www.carnivalofvenice.com they have a list of the events that have been scheduled so far.
