I want to bring a bit of Italy into my UK garden. Does anybody know what plants and features would work here in this climate? I'm based in Gloucestershire.

Try lavender, oleander, topiary (of course), laurel and bay. Depends if you want a formal or informal garden, but a good way to start is with a knot garden, planted formally and using herbs.

What is a knot garden?
