I love Piedmont and when I retire from my job this is where I will be headed! Turin is a wonderful city, the hills of the Langhe are so, so beautiful and you jst can't beat the food from the region - though the raw veal mince is an aquired taste! As for the wine - who could not love Barolo - if only it were as cheap as the cider here in Dorset!!!
