As a result of a failure of our marriage, we have agreed to settle our financial matters by transferring ownership of our holiday home from joint ownership. I have a number of questions: 1/. Do we have to go Italy and involve the notaio, or can the same result be achieved using UK lawyers? 2/. Should I take sole ownership now, or transfer 50% to our two adult children at this point - (to avoid similar problems in the event of my death) ? Any advice or experience would be greatfully received. Thank you.
