Does anyone have a tried and true tested receipe for limoncello?

My Mother Victoria Colonna's recipe for Limoncello is on my www.MikesMunchies.com website....older post...shave the lemon zest from 8 to 12 lemons. Put the zest in a large jar, pour in 1 quart of 150 proof alcohol, put in your pantry for 3 to 4 weeks. In four weeks, the alcohol should have a yellow green tint. You are ready to make limoncello....Bring to a boil 1 and one half quarts of water in a sauce pan, while water boils pour in about 1 quart of white sugar, watch sugar dissolve, separate and drain the zest from the 3 week old mixture, let the water and sugar cool, pour into a pitcher the zest soaked alcohol together with the sugar dissolved water and you now have Moma Colonna's special limoncello. Remove the label from the 150 proof quart bottle, make your own label, pour the limocello into quart bottles, (take a taste) put into your refer, and serve chilled! Small shot glasses. The party has just begun! Purchase large labels from a stationary store, paint or print your label, mine says "Mike Colonna's Famous Limoncello" you do the same....have a shot for me.
